震災のあった2011年末に「今回被災された方々の中に、自分と同じ職業の方で現在も仕事の面で不自由を余儀なくされて困っておられる方はいないだろうか。おられるのであれば是非協力させて欲しい」そう声をかけてくれた方がいました。その方は静岡県の美容師でした。
そこで大槌町でお世話になっている方に当件について相談してみたところ、店舗や自宅を失われ困っている同業の方々がたくさんおいでになることがわかりました。
それをその美容師さんに伝えると、後日、手提げ袋一杯の美容ハサミと、ダンボール箱一杯の様々な美容道具やパーマ液・消耗品などを用意してくださいました。美容師の世界は全くわからない私たちでさえも、手提げ袋一杯に詰まった美容ハサミの価値は容易に想像ができ、ずっしりとその“重み”を感じました。
この美容師さんの思いは大槌町の美容室６店舗に無事に届けることができ、大いに喜んでいただけました。

その美容師さんがまた同業種の方の力になれればと、この度はパーマ機器の提供を申し出てくださいました。この機器は従来のパーマ機器よりも髪に優しく、パーマが当たりにくかった髪質の人にも向く、エアウィーブ形状記憶パーマをかけることが出来る機器だそうです。
今回の機器は釜石市の美容院に届けることができました。釜石市や大槌町、近隣にお住まいの方々には、ぜひお店に足を運んでいただきたいです。

“The same feelings between us, hair dressers in Shizuoka and Iwate”
At the end of 2011, someone asked “Are there some people who are hair dressers in trouble with their life after the disaster? If there are, I would like to help them.”
It was a hair dresser in Shizuoka prefecture.
We asked the local people in Otsuchi town in Iwate prefecture. Then, we found out that there were many hair dressers in the town who lost their jobs due to losing their shops and houses by the disaster.
After we told the hair dresser in Shizuoka, he brought the full of beauty scissors, beauty tools, perm solution and expendables.
We had no idea about the world of the hairdresser, but we could easily imagine how good the beauty scissors were and felt his deep feelings in the carrier bag.

We could bring his feelings to 6 hair salons in Otsuchi town and all of them were very grateful.
The same hair dresser in Shizuoka offered us a perm machine to the affected area this time. This machine is very gentle for hair, matches with difficult hair types for perm and is able to perform an air wave shape memory perm.
