私たちはまだまだ多くの助けを必要としている被災地の現状を継続的に伝えたいと思っています。そこで、東北やその他の地域の方々から届いた“今の状況”や“復興に対する思い”などの情報をお伝えします。
今回は岩手県宮古市にお住まいの、田老の復興者さんからのメッセージをご紹介します。
We always would like to report the current situations in Tohoku to the world because they still need a lot of supports. So we collect the messages from Tohoku and to Tohoku to inform the current conditions and thoughts for revivals of the affected areas and so on.
Today we introduce the message from Mr. Fukkousya (the person who revives area) in Taro area in Miyako city in Iwate.

今、田老地区は災害公営住宅への転居や住宅の再建、
商店の仮設店舗からの移転が進んでいます。
道路工事も進み、その他のインフラの整備も
進んでいます。
来訪した多くの方は、「随分、進んだ」「他より早い」との
印象を持たれる方が大多数です。
確かに工事は早い方かもしれません。
ですが、住民の中で今後の地域での生活をしっかりとイメージ
出来ている方がどれだけいらっしゃるでしょうか。
住民の多くは不安を口にします。
ですが、不安（課題）の多くは地域住民で取り組めるものと思っています。
まだまだ、支援を申し出てくれる方も多数います。
住宅再建はゴールでは無く、復興への一歩にすぎません。
これからの地域をつくっていくのは残る事を選んだ自らです。
ちょうど地域の学校も卒業シーズンです。
被災者から卒業し復興者へと進みたいと思います。

Now there are many changes of moving to disaster public housing, rebuilding houses and moving from a temporary shop in Taro area in Iwate.
Also there are proceedings in road construction and other infrastructures.
So, lots of visitors have the impression that it has proceeded very well and it is faster than the other areas.
It may be true that the process of the construction is faster than the other areas.
However, how many local people can think of the clear image of the future in this area?
Lots of the local people say there are still many problems.
However, I believe that we can solve those problems by ourselves.
Also there are many people who are eager to support us.
So rebuilding houses is not our goal but just one step to revival.
Those who decide to stay here have to work on reviving this area.
It is the time of graduation in local schools in Japan.
I would like to graduate from a victim to someone in charge of reviving this town.
